{Marriage Project: I love you...}

First, let me say that I don't know how the months passed me by. I haven't posted since January... and it's almost March! Life is busy, teaching is busy, re-organizing our condo is busy, and getting together with friends fills our evenings.

It's good to be back.

Since we've been married T and I have been focusing on building a marriage that we are proud of. One that is rooted in the Lord. Lately we have been focusing on being intentional with each other and affirming each other. It's our desire to build a strong, lasting foundation.

Project: "I love you because..."

The idea is not my own, I first found it here on Pinterest. I instantly thought "What a sweet idea!" Then I found THIS amazing site where there are printables already made for me. Bonus? The printables are available in several colors. Winner!! I clicked, printed, and framed this quicker than you would believe.

For the last few weeks T & I have been writing each other little love notes. It's been fun trying to surprise and bless each other with words of affirmation.

p.s. Please forgive the slightly out of focus, blurry photos.

{A Few of My Favorite Things}

Have I ever mentioned my love of wrapping presents? It is one of my favorite things of the holidays. It may sound silly, but every year I think of new ways I can wrap presents and make them feel special.

Yes, I know that Christmas has passed, but I thought I would show what I did for Christmas this year.

{Christmas Projects}

I always enjoy trying out a new project. This year I decided to take all of my old crayons (discarded by students over the years) and make something special for my students. My consensus? A simple DIY project makes for the perfect present for 21 kindergarten students.

My inspiration? A picture on Pinterest.

My materials? Silicone cookie tray, chopped up crayons, and my trusty toaster oven.
